Barring a few songs off the Ghost In The Shell tribute album, all of these tracks are lest than a year old. I always had the impression that modern techno was stagnating but upon embarking upon a techno spending spree on Beatport, and digging a little deeper, I found a surprisingly diverse range of sounds. Techno seems to be healthier than ever. I found myself mostly gravitating towards darker edges of the spectrum I still picked a few choice lighter tracks to mix things up a bit.
